Status

What this site owes you, published rather than tracked privately.

The name of this site is a claim about its contents, so the claim is measured here and the measurement is allowed to fail. Until 17 August 2026 it could not: age-based decay was applied to two of the twelve content types, which made “100% still current” true and empty. That is recorded in retracted.md rather than quietly fixed.

The two classes

A dated record — a build log, a post-mortem, a set of measured numbers — does not stop being true. It describes something that happened. A piece of guidance — a playbook, a downloadable template, a deep dive into a mechanism — can quietly stop being correct while every word of it stays unchanged. Only the second class carries a half-life, and only the second class is counted in the percentage.

Nothing is currently past its half-life.

The weakest number on this page

36 of 58 time-sensitive artifacts carry no explicit verified date, so their age is measured from updated — the day the file was last edited, which is not the day anyone checked whether it was still true. Fixing a typo currently makes an artifact look younger. That gap is stated here rather than hidden in the denominator, and it closes one artifact at a time.
